As we gear up for Black History Month 2017, the Epsilon Phi Chapter of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. will be hosting one of their national programs. "Black History Month, or National African American History Month, is an annual celebration of achievements of black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history. The event grew out of "Negro History Week," the brainchild of notable historian Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans" according to the History Channel.
The Ladies of the Epsilon Phi Chapter would like for you to "Save the Date" for their upcoming Black History Program in which they will honor past, present, and future stars (movie stars, athletes, authors, orators, etc.)! The program will feature: Houston native young actress - Kamryn Johnson from "Hidden Figures" and aspiring actress Saniya Symone-Scott (co-author of "Cooking in Style") plus many more....
